Employee Resource Groups
An employee resource group (ERG), sometimes referred to as an affinity group, is an employee-led group of teammates who join together based on shared characteristics or life experiences. At Bridgestone, our ERGs are initiated by teammates and built to provide a network of support, as well as to provide community service opportunities and teammate learning and development.
Employee Resource groups are open to everyone – and that’s the whole goal! Whether a teammate is an ALLY or shares the defining characteristic for the ERG itself (ex.- a woman, a Veteran, etc.), ERGs play a vital role in helping us see and value differences through recognizing, celebrating and learning more about one another.
