Position Summary
As a Sustainability intern, you will focus on driving cohesive sustainability communications through strong visual storytelling, campaign execution, and cross-team collaboration. The role involves creating brand-consistent designs, coordinating messaging across internal and external platforms, and partnering with agencies and communications teams to refine strategy, tone, and key messaging pillars that align with sustainability goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and support PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings, leadership updates, and cross-functional alignment sessions, ensuring consistency in messaging and design.
- Develop engaging, multi-channel content (social media, website, press releases, newsletters) in coordination with internal and external account managers.
- Design and coordinate a content calendar aligned with sustainability milestones and events.
- Assist with landscape research on industry best practices and competitor communications.
- Track the performance of campaigns and content across channels.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to improve content effectiveness and engagement.
- Analyze macro-trends for ongoing opportunities consideration
Minimum Qualifications

- Have experience using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or PowerPoint.
- Exhibit strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm
- Demonstrate technical aptitude in major of study
- Practice excellent communication and presentation skills
We are looking for students who…
- Are pursuing a degree Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Sustainability, Graphic Design, Business, or a related degree program and be actively enrolled in an accredited university degree program.
- Are sophomore-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0
- Are available to work 40 hours weekly in a 12-week internship assignment in person at the Nashville, TN office
