Position Summary
Responsibilities
Collaboration
- Serve as an advisor to internal teams and customers to help support key initiatives and decision-making with strategic customers.
- Design KPI based scorecards of strategic initiatives to help drive achievements and identify areas of improvement.
- Build and maintain fact-based product assortment strategies by blending internal and industry/syndicated data sources specific to the customer.
- Identify trends and opportunities about Tire Industry or Consumer buying habits that can be leveraged as insights for strategic growth initiatives.
- Cultivate internal and external relationships to build mutual understanding and reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Coach and share best practices to enhance team knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Data & Analytics
- Analyzes complex data, forming conclusions and recommendations, producing insights that will help shape effective strategies to achieve business outcomes.
- Use data storytelling to influence stakeholders with presentations that lead to actionable insights and solutions.
- Subject matter expert and owner of syndicated sell out data from GFK and Circana.
- Own ongoing market analysis presentations for internal and external consumption, utilizing several sources including internal data as well as Industry/syndicated data sources.
- Understand evolving market dynamics with respect to mergers, acquisitions etc. from both manufacturer and retailer standpoint.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of category management experience
- Proficient in Tableau desktop or Alteryx or similar data blending tool
- Strong Understanding of Consumer Replacement Tire Industry
- Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to various levels of management
- Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems
- Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
- Able to engage in consultative manner with management and other analysts when helping solve/manage content deliverables
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau
- Knowledge and utilization of GFK, Circana, and other industry reports.
- Experience with customer and geographic segmentation
- Extensive consumer tire industry product knowledge
