Position Summary
Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer for its tire manufacturing facility located in Morrison, TN. You will support the Engineering team with design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and equipment used in tire production. You will apply practical knowledge of mechanical engineering, work independently with general supervision and work with production departments to conduct continuous improvement and automation activities in the plant.
The Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations plant in Warren County, Tennessee produces truck and bus radial tires, including premium steer and wide base. The nearly 2 million square-foot facility employs more than 1,100 teammates as Operating Technicians, Safety and Health Managers, Quality Assurance, Finance, Process Engineers, Production Analysts, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.

Responsibilities
Works on mechanical problems of moderate scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from higher level professionals.
• Applies research to the planning, design development and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
• Support continuous improvement/automation activities
