Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Senior Analyst, US Tax Accounting to join our team in Nashville, TN.
This role supports the tax accounting close process through the preparation and review of tax accounting information. Prepares tax accounting schedules provided to external auditors and management, as well as prepares selected tax reporting disclosures. Prepares and reviews US tax returns and international forms and schedules, including the calculation of supporting book to tax adjustments, estimated payments and extensions. Leads special projects and carry out various tax research assignments.

Responsibilities
Support tax accounting by conducting monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliation of tax general ledger accounts, preparation of income tax provisions with reconciling items and identification of potential uncertain tax positions.
Assist in controls process of various tax functions (developing and implementing policies, documenting positions, developing dashboards).
Prepare reconciliation of adjustments with explanation from booked provision to filed tax returns
Assist in evaluation of technology available to assist in various tax functions (Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Power Apps).
Provide formal tax accounting related training (e.g. IFRS, Global Integrator, Corporate Finance instructions, etc.) to units.
Conduct quarterly unit tax accounting teleconferences to discuss significant transactions or accounting events, law changes, etc., impacting the tax provision.
Projects as assigned by leadership.
Prepare and review US Federal consolidated and separate legal entity pro forma tax returns, including international forms and schedules, quarterly estimates, extensions, and amended tax return filings.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS is in Finance or Accounting, Economics or similar,
- CPA, MST or MBA preferred
- Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in public accounting or large multinational corporation
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and preferred knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx
- Prefer working knowledge of OneSource Income Tax, OneSource Income Provision, SAP and SAP SAC
