Position Summary
Responsible for the planning of all outbound shipping to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Daily Load Planning for multiple distribution centers
- Preparing daily Warehouse Schedule
- Monitor DC mailbox for transportation deliverables
- Scheduling extra freight available to our customers
- Scheduling other DC’s OOT shipments
- Contact with customers when shipments arrive late or need to be rescheduled
- Sending customer notifications either by manifests/phone calls/ confirming correct appt through automatic emails
- Process outbound stock order transfer (STO) shipments
- Run minimum weight block and road block report daily
- Monitor daily transportation reports from corporate partners
- Process LTL, UPS, XPAS, Branding orders daily
- Other duties as assigned
The compensation range for the position is $48,000 - $52,000.
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
