Position Summary
The Region Manager for the Northwest will lead 10+ Area Managers that support 100+ stores throughout the Region. Territory includes Seattle metro, Denver metro, and other locations to include Oregon and Northern Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance of multiple 10+ Area Managers and 100+ stores within the region
- Champion company initiatives to support the Vision 2020 Company strategy and to deliver a high-performance, customer-centric culture Set performance goals tailored to each Area (teammates, Boss experience and retention and company financial targets)
- Oversee and influence Area Manager (AM) decisions and business plans Build talent pipelines for future Area and Region Managers by fostering development opportunities for current Store and Area Managers
- Ensure teammates adhere to company compliance goals (score card/dashboard)
- Manage P&L for the Region in partnership with Region Finance Leader
- Foster company-wide culture of safety to raise awareness and ultimately reduce teammate risk, claims and cost (shared with Division head)
- Nurture customer-centric vision (Field /Operations) and communicate our promise to deliver best-in-class customer experience (Marketing)
- Partner with other region and Store Support Center staff as needed to lead and manage needs of the region (Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience leading a multi-unit/area including supervision of other multi-unit managers
- Minimum 5-7 years of full P&L responsibility for an Area, District or Region
- BS/BA Degree Strongly Preferred.
- Proven success in leading and developing others in a complex and fast-paced retail environment
- Automotive Industry experience preferred but not required
