- Onsite onboarding for new technicians
- Provide on-the-job training for new Technicians
- Instruct and educate teammates on safety procedures and policies
- Assess technician capabilities and identify training opportunities using performance tools working jointly with the Field Manager
- Inspect teammate performance standards and hold technicians accountable for performance
- Oversee/Manage personnel and processes at key Transit account
- Oversee staff of 13 Union Tire Technicians working on-site at 5 transit tire shop locations
- Report to and work closely with area Field Ops Manager as a liaison to key customer contacts
- Manage daily/weekly/monthly goals as per customer contract expectations
- Manage customer fleet through vehicle inspections/tire inspections
- Manage tire inventory- ordering tires to maintain adequate stock on hand/ processing worn out and damaged outbound tires for weekly pickup/ conduct inventory counts
- Drive adoption of electronic processes as they continue to evolve
- Ensure safety in the workplace through monthly safety meeting attendance, spot checking location organization and cleanliness and enforcing required PPE
- Maintain supply of necessary tools, equipment and shop supplies
- Train new hires, assist Field Ops Manager in interview and hiring process
- Report weekly payroll
- Submit supply vendor invoices for payment
- Help with tire service when warranted
- Work with customer to maintain forklift certifications and CDL training
Additional
- Be able to train and perform other duties as assigned or as required, such as: removing mounting and/or installing tires, loading and unloading trucks requiring the movement of items weighting up to 100 lbs.

- Continuously learns new technical information and electronic processes
