Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial, Fleet and off-the-road (OTR) Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician 3 you will perform tire service and repair work as well as basic general service functions on customer vehicles of all sizes, fleet inspections, assisting with scrap tires; and other duties as required on large and giant mining tires and equipment. This role requires a high level of expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in various locations.

Responsibilities
Perform tire maintenance, including rotations, balancing and alignments on commercial fleet vehicles and OTR equipment onsite at customer location.
Fleet inspections
Inspect tires for wear and damage, making recommendations for replacements or repairs.
Install new tires, ensuring proper fit and balance.
Repair punctures and other tire damage using appropriate techniques and tools.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any issues to management.
Operate and maintain company service vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and providing tire maintenance education as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment; wears required PPE.
Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies
Maintain 4s work areas
Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in tire technology
Any other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid DOT Card
Valid MSHA Card
Previous experience driving a boom truck.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Must be 21 years or older
Willingness to complete a federal background check, drug screen and DOT physical required.
Career experience servicing passenger, commercial , fleet and OTR tires.
Valid driver's license with no restrictions and good driving record required.
Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
Repetitive and sustained exertions, forceful exertions, awkward postures, mechanical stress concentrations, vibrations.
Requires DOT and MSHA compliance and maintaining good standing
Driving Requirements:
Requires a valid driver license to operate vehicles under 26,000 lbs.
