Position Summary
*Candidate MUST live within 1 hour of the Seattle market*
The Bridgestone Fleet Development Manager role is tasked with delivering mutual profitable growth for both Bridgestone and their key dealer partners. FDM’s are asked to develop and execute against dealer specific business plans, driving “sell-out” growth in concert with dealer’s salespeople and providing continual product/solutions expertise throughout their assigned territories.
This position covers the Western WA market areas.
Responsibilities
The FDM is responsible for calling on fleets with locations in a specific territory, with the intent of growing sales of Bridgestone tires, retreading, services, and mobility solutions, and documenting that activity in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. The FDM is heavily focused on calling on fleets to generate sales and works closely with dealers to satisfy fleet needs. The FDM provides ideas and market feedback on Bridgestone’s current products and solutions.
Job descriptions include but are not limited to:
- Managing a portfolio from the top fleets and government accounts in territory.
- Supporting National/Strategic Account initiatives.
- Working with Dealer Customer Sales Representatives (CSRs) to grow business in top fleets.
- CSR training and adoption of Bridgestone Fleet Care Solutions
- Collecting competitive market intelligence to share with the market team.
- Communicating with District Dealer Manager (DDM) and Region Manager to align business objectives and dealer performance.
- Working in the field with prospective and current fleet customers, creating and executing fleet-specific annual business plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Able to drive a car and travel overnight, as needed.
