Position Summary
The FP&A Investor Relations & Analysis Lead is responsible for investor relations support for Bridgestone America’s parent company in Japan and providing strategic analysis and insights for the Americas operations.
This highly visible role works directly with the CFO, Finance VP’s, and Business Presidents in support of investor relations and competitor analysis. The role will be a partner to multiple business teams as well as manufacturing and supply chain, including senior leaders in sales and operations.
The position reports to the Manager of Investor Relations & Analysis.
Responsibilities
Support and eventually lead Investor Relations activities for Bridgestone Americas with report outs to Americas Executive Team and Japan Management
Perform detailed competitor analysis providing strategic insights to Executive Team, and support the cross function Competitor Intelligence Center of Excellence group
Support macro-economic analysis, including monitoring and reporting ongoing monthly and quarterly indicators in addition to ad-hoc business environment
Consolidate and analyze large data sets and communicate concise, simplified conclusions
Partner with business leaders to make recommendations based on identified trends that will influence overall business decision making
Form collaborative relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively and in a timely manner
Support and/or lead highly visible special projects for the Executive Team on an ad hoc basis
Attend investor meetings as needed
Support the compilation of Executive materials for Investor meetings
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
MBA or related graduate degree preferred
Minimum of 6+ years of progressive Finance experience operating in a performance / results-oriented culture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills required
Technically proficient with knowledge of BPC, SAP, and BI/BW a plus
