Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Manage the system and development of standards which define the operational systems, procedures, specifications, and criteria to ensure product, process, quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance that represent Intellectual Property and knowledge assets belonging to Bridgestone while leading the enterprise governance and requirements for document management.
- Develop plans and lead leveraged resources to conduct effective internal audits of the business processes to assess risk, identify opportunities, and direct continuous improvement.
- Lead external third-party audits to sustain global certifications.
- Guide root cause analysis and effective corrective and preventive action implementation.
- Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality system requirements for services and products.
- Develop and facilitate training, provide ongoing coaching for subject matter experts, and leveraged resources.
- Lead or support other various projects and activities as needed to provide business-quality system support across the enterprise.
- Ability to travel 25%.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of related work experience; or 3 years with a master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience or working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related global standards.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis experience utilizing quality tools, such as DMAIC, 5 Why, 8D, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Visio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven project management skills to efficiently balance workload and competing priorities.
- Ability to build relationships, work collaboratively and drive consensus at all levels of the organization.
- Strong eye and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO9001 Auditor or Lead, trained or certified.
- IATF16949 Auditor or Lead, trained or certified.
- ISO17025 Auditor or Lead Auditor, trained or certified.
- Six Sigma trained or certified.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work and lead in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
- Ability to collaborate and influence without authority at all levels of the organization and globally.
- Ability to professionally present information to top-level executives and cross-functional teams.
- Expected to work in the Nashville office according to company policy. Current requirement is a hybrid model requiring three set days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and two flexible days either remote or office (Monday, Friday).
