Position Summary
The Computer Integrated Manufacturing is responsible for the strategic planning and design of telecom infrastructure and/or network components. An Associate Professional position applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and must be able to explain facts, policies and practices related to the job area. Work is closely supervised. Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
Responsibilities
- Support 24/7 Plant IT operations while on rotational shift. This includes but is not limited to the support of internal applications, Microsoft operating system support, cisco wired infrastructure, Microsoft active directory, handheld wireless devices, and thin client administration.
- Administers installed technologies, following approved processes and procedures.
- Participates in the implementation of technologies under guidance from senior staff.
- Monitors the performance of installed technology, performing required maintenance and upgrades as appropriate.
- Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for installed technical solutions.
- Writes advanced documentation in a clear manner.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 year degree with 2 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
