We provide the consumer credit solution for the Firestone Complete Auto Care, Tires Plus, and Wheel Works brands, in addition to customized retail credit services for more than 8,000 other tire and automotive retailers nationwide. Position Summary
This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing direct dispute letters received from consumers to determine the appropriate course of action and response. Typically, these disputes request the modification of credit bureau trade lines or account adjustments. All disputes require response within a specified timeframe to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Review and research letter requests to determine the appropriate level of response
Compile responses to all direct dispute requests
Perform research and analysis regarding customer account activities
Respond to customer pay history inquiries, specific credit reporting and account adjustments
Ensure all correspondence is maintained per the established policy
Document on accounts as appropriate
Follow all compliance guidelines
Ability to process daily work in an organized manner to meet required timeframes
Ability to research and analyze correspondence to determine the appropriate course of action
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Maintains a foundational awareness of Microsoft Office product suite
Ability to communicate effectively across COEs
Ability to meet and maintain required KPIs
Demonstrates strict adherence to banking regulations and internal policies
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Two years of financial services experience, with established proficiency in researching and responding to consumer credit disputes
Location: Full on-site in Brook Park, Ohio
