Firestone engineers air springs and related products for commercial trucks and trailers, cars, sport utility vehicles, light trucks, mini vans, motor homes, buses, agricultural equipment, rail and industrial applications.
Position Summary
Distribution Center Night shift 8 hour
Responsibilities
Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience in a shipping/receiving environment is desirable. Familiarity with personal computers. Good organizational/analytical, communication (verbal or written) and interpersonal skills Able to maintain good customer service under adverse conditions. Above average attention to detail, especially in auditing and entering inventory transactions, reconciling receiving reports, packing slips and inventory control. Familiarity with weigh scales. Be licensed to operate a forklift or be willing to get license to operate forklift. Requires frequent lifting of 50 pounds or more. Experience or willingness to learn the SAP system. Maintain files and various other clerical duties. Material Handling of shop floor, bins, warehouse, weigh counting, load/unload trucks. Basic Transactions – material movements, production confirmation, use of RF guns. Cycle Counting. Must have good attendance over the last 12 months (not be presently in write up). Adjust to a fast paced environment.
Typically requires a high school degree; or 1-2 year vocational training / associates degree
